Should I Get a Second Dog?

The difficulties of owning more than one dog

The most precious gift we have to share is our time. As an owner of three dogs I am very aware of dividing my time between them. I enjoy working all three of them. After years of playing second fiddle to my working trials dog pele, my little border terrier is now starting his agility career aged four! I am also training my young bitch for working trials. In the next six weeks I have three different events with each dog. Even I as an experienced professional find this is a very difficult juggling act. It would be so much easier to own and train just one dog!
